The Aerodrome Icarus Trophy is our highest
accolade. It is awarded to sites which best reflect the winged and soaring
spirit of Aviation. The Icarus is given to just one site each
year.
The Aerodrome Richthofen Award is presented
to sites which cover fighter or multi-role combat aircraft (classic warbirds
or modern planes) or fighter pilot biographies with exceeding
excellence.
This distinction is given to new Aviation
websites which have made promising starts and suggest future outstanding
developments in their text and image contents.
This award is reserved for sites with superlative
bomber-related contents (classic or modern types) and/or bomber aircrew
biographies.
This award is for top class helicopter or
rotorcraft websites (military, civil or home-built types).
Open to websites in all genres, this award
recognises skilful and attractive page design. If you own a classy site,
regardless of topic, consider applying for it.
